Dear 2013 Regional Climate Leadership Summit registrant,

We have received official confirmation that US Senator Bill Nelson of Florida,Chair of the Science and Space Subcommittee of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, will be holding a field hearing on climate change and sea level rise on Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 10:00 am until noon, at the Miami Beach City Hall, Commission Chambers (3rd floor). 

Miami Beach City Hall is located at 1700 Convention Center Drive in Miami Beach.Click here for directions in Google Maps.

The subcommittee hearing is open to the public, so please consider attending. A large turnout at the event will demonstrate to Senator Nelson and his colleagues that climate issues are important to South Florida residents, voters, and businesses.
