Florida closing its COVID sites, but Miami-Dade will keep free tests, vaccines open As Florida closes all of its COVID-19 mass public testing, vaccination and treatment sites due to a lack of federal funding, Miami-Dade will continue to offer tests and vaccines free of charge at more than two dozen sites around the county using a different national resource: the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
